The Dance Collective offers a variety of ongoing classes in jazz, lyrical, ballet, pointe, tap, hip hop, technique, stretch, and strengthening every week. The Dance Collective is home to a regional and national award-winning team comprised of dancers. We have performed in regional and national competitions, philanthropic and community outreach programs, fund-raisers, banquets, and assisted-living communities. Our Competitive Dance Company is a nationally recognized, audition group that performs and competes outside our annual studio showcase. Our competitive dancers have received top honors at many competitions.

We are proud to offer our students the following: 130 Classes A Week – Centerstage Starz Dance Studio offers a variety of ongoing classes in jazz, lyrical, ballet, pointe, tap, hip hop, break dance, technique, stretch and strengthening, and poms instruction on a weekly basis. Competitive Touring Dance Company – Centerstage Starz is home to a regional and national award-winning team of dancers ages 5 through 18. We have performed in regional and national competitions, philanthropic and community outreach programs, fund-raisers, banquets, and assisted-living communities. High School Poms and Dance Teams – We offer private classes, instruction, and custom intensives for local high school poms and dance teams. Inner-City School Outreach – Our teachers regularly travel to various inner-city middle and high schools to provide hip-hop and break dance instruction at a reduced rate to underprivileged students. Summer Dance Camps – We coordinate several themed dance camps throughout the summer. Birthday Parties – Centerstage Starz hosts customized thematic birthday parties

Flatirons Dance Academy is committed to bringing quality dance instruction to local schools and communities. Each class focuses on the history, vocabulary, technique, and cultural context behind dance. Our classes foster structured and supportive interactions with classmates, give practice in problem-solving, and build academic and artistic skills. Additionally, classes highlight the importance of teamwork, collaboration, and positive group interaction. At the end of each session, students will be able to perform in a presentation showcasing the knowledge gained during the classes for their peers, teachers, family, and community.
